How many lives do I have left?

I'm pretty sure I have at least 5.

A little over halfway into 2009, and a brand new chapter is starting for me. The last 4 years have been the best of my life so far, and I'm looking forward to the next 4 to be even better.
I had found the love of my life, ventured to a (then) foreign country, and made at least a dozen good friends. That'll be pretty hard to top. But I'm up to the challenge!

The only thing I really don't like about this new phase, is that it looks like I may have lost my true love. That fucking hurts. But thankfully he isn't too far out of reach, and the optimistic side of me is hoping he'll change his mind. I will always crave his heart, but I'd rather not loose his friendship if that is at risk.
The full story is waay too complicated to go into at this point, it only happened 5 days ago. But things are still good enough to trek onwards and upwards. I'll take the lemons and make sweet sweet lemonade. Time will tell, and I have a lot more patience than I did 5 years ago.
